Kemah Boardwalk – Sailboat
In high school, I was lucky enough to learn the joys of sailing. It’s been ages since I’ve been sailing but everytime I see a sailboat, I reminisce about spending lazy Saturdays out on the lake, feeling my worries float away with the breeze.
These memories came back when M and I spent our Sunday afternoon at Kemah Boardwalk. It was incredibly hot but oh, how I enjoyed watching the boats sail by! This one in particular with red sails caught my attention.
Ahhh…doesn’t that look fun? Here’s a picture of the entire sailboat. Oh yes, FYI, I used picnik.com for the lomography effect. It’s fun and it’s free! (Here’s the original.)
I’ve got some more pictures from Kemah that I’ll post in the next few entries. =)

i played with the website and it’s FUN! I did it to one of my photos from fourth of july on the blog and now i gotta get all the other pictures kind of matching. already got called out that it looks different from all the other photos. haha
thanks for sharing that link!

You’re welcome! I gotta give credit to Marc’s sister, Veronika, who used it before me with her flickr pics!
It’s tons easier, too, than trying to do it through photoshop, haha.
